18 U.S.C. § 2257 exemption statement

We do not hold performer identification records because there are no performers. We state this rather than nominating a custodian of records, because nominating one would assert that records exist when they do not.

An exemption from record-keeping is not a licence. Two obligations sit outside it entirely, and we treat both as binding on us regardless of what § 2257 requires.

• Imagery of minors. Sexual depiction of anyone who appears to be under 18 is blocked at input and at output, with no account setting, flag or configuration that permits it. Synthetic origin is not a defence and we do not treat it as one.
• Real people's likenesses. Where a generation is conditioned on photographs of a real, identifiable person, we require a recorded consent to intimate imagery of that specific likeness before adult content can be produced from it. Consent from whoever uploaded the photograph is not consent from the person in it.

The second of those is the record we do keep. It is not a § 2257 record and we do not present it as one, but it is the evidence that a depicted person agreed, and it is retained against the character it belongs to.
